who are we

LATIN AMERICA IS NOT AN EMERGING MARKET. IT’S AN UNDERINVESTED ONE.

Impact Latam Ventures is a diaspora-powered pre-seed fund backing Latin American-founded greentech startups building in Europe and the US. We find founders early — before they appear on Dealroom, before valuations inflate — because we are already inside the communities where they exist.

Our sourcing edge is trust, not transaction. Founders find us through years of presence, consistency, and genuine support. We deploy capital only after rigorous validation — business model, unit economics, technical readiness, IP. We stay on the cap table.

Our Manifesto

A platform for founders, diaspora investors, and mission-aligned LPs building Latin America's next innovation economy.

Latin American founders don't start at zero. They start 100 miles behind the line — without the networks, the warm intros, or the capital access that founders in other ecosystems take for granted.

We have watched investors perform impact without deploying it. We have seen ESG branding replace actual accountability. We are building a different model.

Our core belief: impact and returns are not a tradeoff. The founders solving Latin America's biggest challenges are building the most defensible, scalable businesses of the next decade.

Utopia is the horizon — it keeps us walking forward.

Non negotiables

Our Operating Principles.

01  FOUNDERS FIRST, ALWAYS.

Founders are not our product — they are our partners. We want to be the support we, founders, need. We back the operator behind the idea and build long-term relationships, not transactional ones.

02  CLEAN CAPITAL. FULL STOP.

Rigorous KYC. Institutional-grade compliance. We source only from LPs whose values align with ours.

03  HIGH-INTEGRITY TEAMS ONLY.

Coachable, self-aware, and team-first. Brilliant but uncoachable is a pass. Execution and vision are the only filters.

04  RADICAL INCLUSION, ZERO TOLERANCE.

Accent, background, and geography are not filters. We will not tolerate discrimination of any kind — in our portfolio, our team, or our investor community.

Our thesis holds in good markets and bad. A manifesto you only follow when it's easy is not a manifesto.

05  CONSISTENCY OVER CONVENIENCE.

06  COMMUNITY-DRIVEN DEALFLOW.

Our network, our founders, and our diaspora community participate in surfacing and validating opportunities. Fairness is a feature of our process.

The full stack of the sustainable economy — from energy and food systems to bioeconomy, water, and AI-enabled climate software.

We also maintain an open database of LATAM greentech founders. If you're not ready to raise but want to be on our radar — submit below.

For Latino Founders Worldwide

We are building the infrastructure to mobilize diaspora capital and talent back into LATAM's greentech ecosystem. Wherever you are building from — join the community.

Latin America does not need more observers. It needs operators, capital, and conviction — deployed now, in the right companies, with the right support structure behind them.

Deploy capital. Make it count.
